Weddings: Style Guide

Hoy en día siento que tenemos mucho más opciones de formas de vestirnos para una boda. Aquí les quiero compartir algunos de mis looks para que los tomen como inspiración…

Creo que antes era mucho más formal la vestimenta y no le cambiabas mucho al look. Hoy no tienes que ir de vestido sino tienes infinitas opciones como sería una falda y un crop top, un jumpsuit, unos pantalones y top etc.. Esto hace mucho más divertido e interesante a la hora de pensar en qué ponerte para una boda.

Algunas de las preguntas que me ayudan mucho a ver que ponerme son las siguientes:

-¿En dónde es la boda? En la playa, en el campo, en una ciudad o en un rancho.
-¿Cuál es el clima en el lugar? Frío, caliente, húmedo, etc.
¿Es de día, noche o en la tarde? Tu look cambia mucho dependiendo la hora a la que es la boda.
¿Qué estilo de gente es? Dependiendo de esto veo que tan arriesgado puede ser mi look o si tiene que ser un poco más clásico.

Normalmente mis looks son más de vestidos largos o bajo de la rodilla y flojos, siempre me he sentido mucho más cómoda con ellos para saludar y poder bailar sin ninguna preocupación. También, de vez en cuando uso vestidos cortos y apretados pero claramente no me siento igual de cómoda y estoy mucho más consciente de cómo me tengo que mover y todo lo que hago ¡Jajajaja! Me encanta cambiar mucho e innovar mis looks para bodas y arriesgarme en mis outfits, siento que de esta forma no me aburro pensando en qué ponerme. Te voy enseñar 5 looks para diferentes estilos de bodas. La mayoría son para bodas de día pero espero pronto hacer uno de bodas de noche ¡Ojalá les guste y puedan sacar ideas para crear sus propios looks! Besos.

Nowadays I think that the wedding attires have become more relaxed, and you can almost get away with anything. You don’t have to wear such a formal dress or a dress at all. You can go in a pantsuit, a crop top and a skirt, some pants and a top,etc.. I guess we have more options now a day. Some of the questions that help me decide what to wear to a wedding are:

Where is the wedding? The beach, the city, a country house.
What is the weather like or climate? Cold or warm weather.
What type of crowd is it? Depending if the crowd attending is young, you can go in a more exotic or trendier look, and if they are more old school, you try to wear something more appropriate for the occasion.
Is it a day or evening wedding? They are very different attires.

I feel more comfortable with flowy, longer, dresses than shorter, tighter ones. I think I can get around much easier when leaning down and greeting people and while dancing. That does not mean I don’t wear them or feel that they are not appropriate; they are just not my first choice for a wedding. I try to change it up, so I get to have fun picking up my outfits. I am going to show you five different looks that you can wear to a wedding. They are mostly for day wedding but hopefully shortly I can do one for evening weddings. Hopefully, you get inspired and start changing it up and taking more risks for your wedding looks. Remember to have fun while doing it. Besos.
