It's time to plan mother's day

El día de la madre es día muy importante, pero que con el tiempo ha perdido un poco el  significado real que es el celebrar de una de las personas más importantes en nuestra vida:  MAMÁ. 
En esta ocasión les quiero compartir una lista de regalos enfocada en tener una experiencia  única con tu mamá y no en función de darle un regalo. Para mi es mucho más significativo  compartir momentos y recuerdos, por eso te daré 7 opciones de actividades que podrás  hacer con tu mamá. 

Mother’s Day is coming up! And if you can’t decide what to get your mom, I’ve rounded up  seven ideas to help you find the perfect gift. 
I believe it’s far more special to share an unforgettable experience rather than spending  thousands on a fancy gift. Something you can do together and remember forever, so  dedicate her the time and attention she deserves! 
As the years go by, and grow up, we tend to have pretty busy days and weeks, and tend to  spend less time with our parents. So I guess, in my mom’s case, the best present I can give  her is to share an experience together! And I’m sure most mothers feel the same! So I’ll give  you some fun ideas for you to work around, change, and add details to suit your mom’s  personality and taste! 
 

Haz algo que no sea solo ir a comer a un restaurante. Puedes ordenar su comida favorita y  un postre que le encante. Decora el lugar con algunos detalles que sepas que le puedan  gustar, como globos, flores, raquetas, juegos de mesa u otras actividades que puedas llevar  a cabo mientras están en el picnic.    

Picnics are an excellent way to spend quality time out in a place where your mom doesn’t  have to work or worry and just relax. You should only plan in advance the location and a  special menu with your mom’s favorite treats! In my opinion, going on a picnic is a far more  personal and intimate experience than going to a restaurant, where you’ll not only spend a  lot more money but also end up surrounded by a crowded room of strangers.    

¿Cuándo fue la última vez que fuiste a uno? Estoy segura que le encantará, será una buena  forma de pasar el día y acordarse de todas esas veces que tu mamá te llevó a tí, saldrán  miles de memorias y risas.  

When was the last time you went to a theme park? I think it’s a fun way to spend this special  day, and it will bring back lots of memories of when your mom use to take you when you  were younger!    

Será un súper regalo para mamá y, además es muy buena forma para relajarse y, al mismo  tiempo, disfrutar de un tiempo juntas.   
A  Spa Day is a nice way for you and your mom to relax and catch up on the all the gossip  and fun on each other’s life. Plus you’ll end up refreshed and pampered!  

 ¿A quién no le gusta ir de compras? Puede ser un día muy divertido porque las dos estarán  haciendo algo que les gusta. Vayan a un lugar nuevo, conozcan tiendas y compren las  cosas que siempre han querido. Claro, no olvides que te tocará a ti pagar la cuenta, jajaja.    

What women doesn’t like to shop? Lol, a shopping day with mom is a perfect way to have a  fun day while doing something you both enjoy! And obviously, you will be footing the bill at  least for a whole look haha.    

Está muy de moda tener un estilo de vida saludable, así que podrían hacer alguna clase de  yoga, pilates, spinning o sencillamente caminar un rato por un parque al aire libre. Con  estas actividades, además de pasar un maravilloso día juntas, estarás regalándole salud y  energía a mamá haciéndola sentir mucho mejor.    

Being fit and healthy has evolved into one of the hottest trends! If your mom enjoys working  out, why not join her on her special day? You could choose between a yoga class, boot  camp, soul cycle, a bike ride or even a walk around the park.  

Disfruten del amanecer en un globo de aire y vean las pirámides desde otra perspectiva.  Luego, para platicar sobre la experiencia, pueden ir a un brunch, a tomar un café, un helado  o el postre favorito de mamá.    If you’re looking to surprise your mom, scheduling a flight on a Hot Air Balloon will leave her  stunned! It’s a great experience that I think anyone will love. Usually, these trips begin bright  and early so you will get to watch the sunrise and afterward head for a brunch!!    

La verdad es que a cualquier lugar que la lleves estará feliz de compartir contigo. Podrán  pasar algunos días haciendo nuevas memorias y acordándose de mil experiencias que han  tenido juntas.

As an adult, a road trip becomes an opportunity for another kind of discovery. And I  personally find that some of the best conversations take place in the car since you seem to  be able to have the space to go deep on the big issues in life. So I’m sure anywhere you  decide to take her will be an amazing trip which she will remember and appreciate!!! 
These are some activities I think would be amazing to share with your moms! And  remember, in the end, what really matters is to make the most out of the quality time you will  spend together.
